As part of the ongoing efforts to be transparent, I wanted to share with you some insights into what went on with this Blog during the first week. Nothing fancy here, just some idea of a few lessons and some statistics.
- We have received well over 300 registrations for the event so far
- The most popular post of the last week was the piece on the BBC’s Creative Future
- There are 5 people subscribed to this blog’ RSS feed according to my Feedburner stats (including me)
- 91 people visited the event details page and 59 have seen the about page
- Zero comments have been left
- 69 people took the poll last week
I had mistakenly configured the comments for only those who register for the Blog thinking we were going to get a lot of comments and needed to perhaps throttle them back a bit. Having received none on the site directly, I have realized the error in my ways and corrected it. You can now just leave a comment.
The poll results were in line with what I expected really. Approximately 3 out of 5 are not doing anything with blogs yet (come on people, step it up) and approximately 1 our of 5 are actually doing things for their clients now.
