Beyond Blogging 2006

Webcast of the Beyond Blogging Event

We were delighted to see such an overwhelming response - in terms of both audience and interest - to ’Beyond Blogging‘ conference, and hope you found it as engaging and thought-provoking as we did.

Thanks to the work of our partner Vodium, the event blog now features a Webcast of the session which you can view at http://www.vodium.com/goto/fh/beyondblogging.asp. Please take a moment to check it out. It will give you a chance to refresh your thinking, catch remarks that you may want to listen to again, or skip directly to a part of the program or to an individual speaker. If you’re looking for a transcript you can get that too.

To help us reach a larger audience with the information presented at the conference, we hope you’ll also send the link to friends and colleagues you think would benefit from knowing more about “Beyond Blogging.”

We also encourage you to continue the exchange of ideas by posting a question to the blog, responding to a post, or sharing your own perspectives. It’s our hope that this blog can serve the greater Washington community of professional communicators as an ongoing resource and platform for knowledge-sharing, idea-exchange, insights and information.

If you have any questions or comments about the conference, please let us know. And, we look forward to your continuing interest and participation in “Beyond Blogging.”

Where do I find the transcript?

The transcript is available from the webcast interface. Just launch the webcast, and the transcript will be visible in the bottom left of the window. You can search and click through the transcript. You can also download the transcript from the menu at the top of the window.

[…] Besides general background about the ways blogs are changing the communications world, the presentation contained a lot of good tips about setting up an institutional blog and getting the most out of it. The video of the presentation is available online and is well worth checking out, whether or not your organization or campaign is currently blogging or planning to blog. […]
